What we collect
When you book, we collect your name, phone number and appointment details, including services, barber, date, time and any notes you choose to share. We also keep your email address if you provide one; our current online booking form does not require email. Please avoid including sensitive information in booking notes.
Why we use it
We use your details to manage appointments, contact you about changes and send confirmations or reminders when those services are available. We do not sell your personal information. We share only what is needed with service providers that help us run bookings and communications, or when required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep booking information only as long as needed to manage appointments, handle questions or disputes, and meet legal or business record-keeping obligations. Records used to make a decision directly affecting you are kept for at least one year as required by BC law. When information is no longer needed, it should be securely deleted or made anonymous; some records may need to be kept longer by law.
Your choices
To ask to see or correct your information, request deletion, or ask a privacy question, call Afterhour Barbershop at 778-231-8599. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will explain if any records must be retained by law. You can also ask us to stop optional reminders.
